Privacy Policy
Plain-language summary: our tools run entirely in your browser and never upload what you type. The site shows ads (Google AdSense) and uses Google Analytics to understand which tools are useful — both explained in full below, along with the cookies they set, your choices, and our consent banner.
Effective date: 15 June 2026
This policy explains how Internet Tool Wizard ("we", "us", "the site", internettoolwizard.com) handles information when you use it. We keep it accurate to what is actually running on the site, and we update it the moment that changes.
1. Your tool input never leaves your device
Every tool on this site is designed to run 100% in your browser. When you type a number into a converter or paste text into an encoder, the work is done on your own device with JavaScript. That content is not sent to us or to any server, is not stored, and is not logged. We could not read it even if we wanted to.
2. What we collect
We do not collect what you type into the tools, and we do not ask you to log in or fill in forms. The site does use two third-party Google services that may set cookies and process limited technical/usage data: Google AdSense (advertising) and Google Analytics 4 (aggregate usage analytics). Both are described in section 3, and in regions that require consent neither loads until you choose (section 4).
The one unavoidable exception is standard hosting data: the site is served through Amazon Web Services (Amazon S3 and Amazon CloudFront). As with any website, the hosting/CDN infrastructure may automatically process basic technical request information — such as your IP address, the time of the request, the page requested, and your browser's user-agent string — to deliver pages and protect against abuse. This is inherent to how the internet works and is not used by us to build a profile of you.
3. Advertising and analytics we use
To keep the tools free, we use the following. We keep this list accurate to what is actually running and revise the effective date above whenever it changes:
- Display advertising (Google AdSense). Google and its advertising partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads. Google may use the advertising cookie to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. Where you have not consented to personalized ads (or where consent is not required and you opt out), Google can serve non-personalized ads based only on general context and your approximate (e.g. country-level) location.
- Analytics (Google Analytics 4). We use Google Analytics to understand which tools are useful and how the site performs. It sets cookies (such as _ga) and collects aggregate usage data — pages viewed, approximate location, device/browser type, and interactions. It does not capture what you type into the tools. The data is processed by Google (section 6).
- Local storage of your preferences. We may store small settings (for example a remembered region selection or theme) in your browser's local storage. This stays on your device and is not a tracking cookie.
4. Cookies and consent
Advertising and analytics set cookies. We show a consent banner using a Google-certified consent management platform. For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and the US state of California, no personalized ads, no analytics, and no non-essential cookies load until you have made a choice. You can accept, reject, or manage your choices — and change them later at any time through the banner.
5. Your choices and opt-outs
- Manage Google's ad personalization at My Ad Center (myadcenter.google.com).
- Opt out of personalized advertising from many companies at aboutads.info/choices and, in Europe, youronlinechoices.eu.
- Use your browser settings to block or delete cookies, and to send a "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control signal.
- When our consent banner is live, you can withdraw or change consent at any time through it.
6. Third parties
Your information may be processed by Google (AdSense and Google Analytics) and Amazon Web Services (hosting) under their own privacy policies: Google Privacy Policy, How Google uses advertising cookies, and AWS Privacy Notice.
7. Children
This site is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13 (or the relevant age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the EU/UK GDPR or the California CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or limit the use of personal data, and to object to certain processing. Because we do not ourselves build user profiles, most such requests relate to the third-party services above — but you can always contact us and we will help where we can.
9. Changes to this policy
We will update this page whenever our data practices change, and we will revise the effective date at the top. Material changes will be reflected here rather than communicated individually, so it's worth checking back.
